June 19th We'll be offering an all day split session for both rolling and strokes for the NE Seacoast Paddlers group based in the Portsmouth, NH area Check it out here andhere! UPDATE! June 26, 27 We will be teaching paddling skills and rolling in the Falmouth area, on Cape Cod. There are one or two openings in this stateside session, depending on the day. Please contact us for further information. NEW! July 3rd We'll be offering an all day, Greenlandic kayaking program. Forward and turning strokes, bracing and, of course, rolling. In association with friend Tom Bergh's Maine Island Kayak Company, on Peaks Island, Maine. Contact us if you are interested in participating. NEW! July through Mid September We'll be on a back and forth road trip tour of the American and Canadian West Coast. Contact us if you are interested in having us teach in your neck of the woods along the route, as we roll for bed and board!!!! ;p. On the road again!... our first stop is: July 10th & 11th We'll be teaching, in association with Chris Geminder of Boreal Shore Kayaks, in Bayfield Wisconsin, the gateway to the Lake Superior's Apostle Islands Contact Chris if interested. Next up!... border crossings!: July 17th, 18th, and 19th We will be doing skills workshops in association with Comox Valley Kayak in Courtney, Vancouver Island, BC. Then we'll hit the water for a wee vacation on the West coast of Vancouver Island. Hoping for some big swell, and surf, and a bit of relaxation. Thinking Tofino, Broken Group, perhaps more ;-)... After recharging our batteries, we'll be booking Stateside in mid-August... August 19th-22nd We'll be teaching at Ginni Callahan's very cool LOCO Roundup on the Lower Columbia River in Oregon. Then, heading back tEast by way of several stops!... August 26th through 29th We'll be returning, after two years absence, to Michigan Training Camp. We are really looking forward to reconnecting with old friends and meeting new ones on the shoulder of Lake Michigan! Labor Day weekend We'll be doing what we do, in the Chicago area, in association with Geneva Kayak in Geneva, Illinois. Contact Geneva Kayaks' Ryan Rushton if interested in this offering. Back up over the border, into Ontario, next!... NEW! September 10th through 12th Something very special is brewing in Ontario! Come to the 1st Annual Ontario Greenland Camp! September 25th and 26th We'll be doing a Greenlandic comprehensive weekend in association with our friends, Carl and Sam Ladd, of Osprey Seakayak Adventures, in Westport, Massachusetts. September 30th through October 3rd In early October we'll both be in Italy, teaching at the 2nd Italian National Kayak Symposium NEW!October 15, 16, 17 We'll be mentoring skinny stickers rough water and surfing skills out at TAKS, this year in Trinidad, California... A few other things on the boil for an always flat-out October, stay tuned! ;-) Then home again, home again, jiggity-jog... NEW! November 5th through 14th We'll be offering a SOF qajaq-building workshop here, at Qajaq Brownfield. Please contact us for further information. Did someone say 'snow'? Ongoing We are accepting half-day, all-day, and multi-day instruction reservations, if you are looking for a private or semi-private class. Contact us for details. 2010 promises to be a very busy and exciting year for us, on both the qajaq-building and teaching fronts. Very shortly, we'll have more offerings on the schedule, at the Qajaq Brownfield barn, and additional water dates in America and Canada in 2010.
