Once a day, more or less, an image to ponder...

The women's portage in Paamiut 2005 was quite difficult, steep and seaweed-slippery ground, and by the end, some of these skin on frames had gained 20 pounds of water. The combination very nearly exhausted these two competitiors at the very end. The girls struggled to get their kayaks to water and did finish.
