Tiderace Sea Kayaks have revamped their line with the new Xceed, which combines the best characteristics of the legacy Xplore, Xcape and Xcite. The Xtra is the surf and rock hopper's dream, while the Pace 18 sets a new standard in racing kayaks. Designed by Aled Williams, we believe that these kayak are the finest hardshell laminate kayaks on the planet. They feature Tiderace Core Technology: performance laminates that make significantly stronger, stiffer and lighter kayaks, far exceeding the typical industry standard. At every turn, the attention to construction detail is second to none, and the seaworthiness of these designs is extraordinary.

Rebel Kayaks produces arguably the finest composite Greenlandic kayaks available today. Designer Johan Wirsen, with his wealth of experience in small boat design, partnered with Michal Obelnicki of Aquarius Kayaks to form Rebel Kayaks. Their goal was to continue to introduce and improve Wirsen's growing line of hard chined kayaks for the world market. We’re particularly big fans of the Ilaga and have been honored to develop, design, and perfect the new Naja!

Qaannat Kattuffiat. The Greenland Kayaking Association is a Greenland-based organization that is dedicated to keeping the traditional kayaking skills alive. This includes rolling, paddling techniques, qajaq building, tuilik-making and other aspects of the Greenland kayaking culture. The Qaannat Kattuffiat holds regular training camps where this knowledge is shared, and an annual championship. Today there are approximately 25 local Greenland “qajaq” clubs affiliated with Qaannat Kattuffiat. There is also a chapter in Copenhagen (Qajaq Copenhagen) , United States (Qajaq USA), and Japan (Qajaq JPN).

QajaqUSA is the official American Chapter of Qaannat Kattuffiat - the Greenland Kayak Association, with members world-wide. QajaqUSA is one of only three affiliated “Qajaq” clubs outside of Greenland. Most homeland “Qajaq” clubs are scattered among the small villages of Greenland and are a major impetus in keeping the local kayaking traditions alive. We have both been privileged to mentor at many QajaqUSA sanctioned events, including Delmarva Paddlers Retreat, the first exclusively Greenland-Style training event outside Greenland.

Harvey Golden is national treasure! His latest project is the Lincoln Street Kayak & Canoe Museum of indigenous watercraft replicas. Harvey’s work has been an inspiration to many of us in the kayaking community. His comprehensive tome on the craft of the Greenland sealcatchers, aptly named Kayaks of Greenland, is an in-depth study of the construction, design, variation and evolution of the Greenlandic hunting kayak. The spectrum of kayak forms from Greenland are linked and analyzed within a changing cultural and climatic context.
